Q: Why would I buy a TeenLife guide when I can do a web search on my own?
A:  While it is true that most of this information is available online, it is extremely time-consuming to sort through it and sift out the most valuable and appropriate opportunities. TeenLife provides a detailed, inclusive guide that is easily accessed and simply organized by category. Every detail you need to make an informed decision is already included in the Guides. We also provide an index section that sorts the information in ways that help you to drill down to the most relevant opportunities more quickly.

Q: How does TeenLife Boston choose programs and organizations included in the Guides?
A: Each listing organization is contacted and required to submit information to TeenLife.   TeenLife evaluates the contact information and response, determines whether there is a working website and the resources in place to respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and ensures that the programs offered are appropriate for students aged 13-18.

Q: Do the Guides include feedback from past participants?
A: TeenLife is in the process of beginning to collect reviews of programs, and those reviews and ratings will be included in future editions of the guides (beginning Jan. 2009)

Q: When is the Guide to Summer Programs published?  
A:  At present, the Summer Guide is published once a year, in January.

Q: When is the Guide to Community Service available?
A:  The first annual issue will be published in February 2008.  

Q. How long does it take to receive the Guides?
