Awards and Grants
Several organizations in Greater Boston offer prizes and awards to high school students, independent of the schools. Students are also eligible for many leadership positions in the community, depending on where they live. We have listed just a few. If you know of other opportunities, please email info@teenlifeboston.com .
Princeton Prize in Race Relations
Princeton seeks to promote harmony, understanding and respect among people of different races by identifying and recognizing high school age students whose efforts have had a significant, positive effect on race relations in their schools or communities. Applications for the Princeton Prize in Race Relations must be postmarked by January 31, 2008. Winners are eligible for prizes – including cash awards up to $1000 for particularly noteworthy work – that will be presented in the spring of 2008. High school students who are involved in an activity that is helping to improve race relations, broadly defined, in their school or community, are encouraged to apply.
Parents’ Independent School Network (PIN) - Community Service Awards & Grants
